Cash Drawer Doesn’t Open

  1. Make sure the cable going from the cash drawer into the receipt printer is securely inserted into both devices.
  2. Make sure the printer that the cash drawer is plugged into is powered on and functional.
  3. Make sure the employee using the cash drawer has “Use Drawer 1” checked under the “Security” tab under Employees – Modify Employees.
  4. If you usually assign cash drawers to employees, make sure that the employee is listed under Manager Menu – Assign Cash Drawer – Drawer #1 tab.
